La Bibliothèque Sensible considers the library not simply as an archive, but as a living field of knowledge explored through movement and perception. Quotes drawn from texts on libraries, reading and knowledge are inscribed in lacquer onto the reading tables, appearing and disappearing as light catches their reflective surfaces and as the viewer changes position. Knowledge is thus encountered as something unstable and contingent, revealed through attention, movement and chance. The library becomes a threshold between the visible and invisible, preservation and disappearance, where knowledge is continually encountered, lost and rediscovered.
